Botox & fillers such as Radiesse, Voluma, Juvederm Belotero are office procedures that can be performed usually about an hour.

Through a combination of Botox and fillers, patients can minimize wrinkles and modify facial features to produce a revitalized appearance.

Most people tolerate Botox injections quite well. There may be minor discomfort & bruising that dissipate very quickly. There is no down time. You can begin to see result in just 3-5 days and the effects will last about 2-3 months.

Similarly, fillers can be done in about 45 minutes or less. There is some pain associated with the procedure that can be eased by injection lidocaine or topical anesthesia. Results are immediate and can last months depending on the particular filler and site of injection.

Botox

Hyperhidrosis

Sometimes deodorants just won’t do the trick. When you produce an excessive amount of sweat, also known as hyperhidrosis, your nerve signals are sending messages to your sweat glands to overproduce without any understandable cause such as heat or exercise. This can cause those embarrassing and unwanted sweat stains. Using Botox injections in the axillae, also known as the armpits, will decrease or halt the production of sweat. This treatment can be used as an alternative to an unsuccessful attempt at curing excessive sweating by using creams and medications.

Botox for Horizontal Forehead Lines

Forehead lines are caused from the muscles contracting to lift the brows, most commonly shown when expressing surprise. Some people also use these muscles over-exaggeratedly throughout everyday conversation or when they are attempting to see something clearer. Botox placed tactically across the forehead can soften the appearance of these lines without weakening the muscles or putting too much pressure on the brows. This can be used to improve both deep wrinkles and more shallow ones.

Botox for Crow’s Feet

Crow’s feet are caused by the orbicularis muscles, which are responsible for closing the eyelids. These muscles encircle the eyes with fibers spanning from the temples to the cheeks. When the muscles contract in either sleep, blinking, squinting, smiling or laughing, the skin from the temples, cheeks and forehead pull towards each other, creating folds at the corners of the eyes. After time and with aging, these lines become permanent and create what we call “crow’s feet”. Injecting Botox into this area will soften the appearance. Using Botox will give patients their desired effect while still keeping the warm and friendly appearance that is often associated with smiling.

Botox for Frown Lines Between the Brows

Glabellar lines, more commonly known as frown lines, are the creases formed between the eyebrows. This is the most commonly treated area amongst Botox patients. The injections are placed slightly above the supraorbital ridge, the brow bone bordering the eye sockets. Patients’ complaints are often an “angry” appearance caused by repetitive frowning over an extended period of time. Getting Botox treatment in this area can create a more elegant and pleasant looking face.

Fillers

Radiesse

RADIESSE is a dermal filler used to plump the skin. RADIESSE is injected through a small needle and placed under the skin. Radiesse is remarkably effective in softening or erasing folds or deep wrinkles caused by volume loss.  Radiesse induces a process called collagenases, stimulating your body to produce new collagen to form around the injected Radiesse. Immediately, this filler works to add volume under the skin and over time, the benefits of RADIESSE continue by stimulating your body’s own natural collagen. The natural results have been shown to last a year or more in many patients, making the treatment results both immediate and long lasting. Radiesse is FDA approved.

Why choose Radiesse?

  • RADIESSE immediately replenishes lost volume and stimulates the production of your own natural collagen with results that can last a year or more in many patients.
  • Over time, the gel is absorbed and the body metabolizes the CaHA microspheres leaving behind only your own natural collagen.
  • RADIESSE is clinically proven to last a year or more in many patients
  • RADIESSE provides results with high patient satisfaction
  • RADIESSE is FDA approved to mix with lidocaine, an anesthetic, to significantly reduce injection-related pain

Juaderm Voluma

Juvederm Voluma XC is a dermal filler containing hyaluronic acid, a substance produced by the body naturally that maintains skin’s elasticity, strength, and moisture levels. Juvederm Voluma works by restoring hyaluronic acid. Hyaluronic acid is responsible for transporting vital nutrients to your skin, increasing moisture levels, and maintaining the strength and elasticity of your skin.

Your body makes less hyaluronic acid as you get older, causing you to lose structure and volume. Voluma is designed to counteract aging by restoring lost volume and gently lifting sagging skin. This helps to add tissue volume and structure to your cheeks, restoring youthful contour and shape to your face.

As we age, it’s natural to experience loss of facial volume and skin elasticity. Besides seeing lines and wrinkles, you may start to notice a loss of fullness in your cheeks, which can give your face a hollow, sagging appearance.

Who Is the Ideal Candidate for a Treatment With Juvederm Voluma?

We recommend Juvederm Voluma XC for people over 21 years of age who want to enhance the appearance of their cheeks and restore lost facial volume.
